At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our UniQue team in Braine-L'Alleud, Belgium.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of business processes, ensuring they meet business needs within budget, timeline, and quality standards.
  • Define project goals, document progress, and manage risks to ensure successful completion.
  • Create and update project and quality plans, providing regular progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality reviews are conducted on time and manage any changes to project scope, costs, or schedules.
  • Provide guidance and take corrective actions if performance deviates from expectations.
  • Initiate and manage multiple projects, track progress, and support funding requests (APF).
  • Manage tasks, planning, and tracking using approved tools like Microsoft Enterprise Project Management applications.
  • Develop materials for project reviews and provide monthly updates on finances, milestones, and schedules.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth collaboration.

Requirements

What will you be bringing to the team?

  • Have at least a Bachelor's degree
  • Have at least a 3 years of related experience (if no degree, a minimum of 5 years Project Management Experience) in large complex organizations.
  • A recognized project management qualification, such as Prince2 Practitioner, Project Management Professional (PMP) is an advantage.
  • Certification in Agile Project Management (Agile PM, Scrum) is an advantage.
  • A recognized Service Management qualification (such as ITIL Foundation, ITIL specialist courses) is an advantage.
  • Experience managing low to medium complexity IT projects, including procurement, logistics, testing, change management, and asset management.
  • Strong supplier and contract management skills, including negotiations, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to prepare pricing proposals and manage bid processes for industry contracts.
  • Experience supporting Project Boards and Senior Management, ensuring effective decision-making and project success.
  • Proactive mindset, identifying and mitigating risks before they become issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present and engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Accountability for project success, financial management, and resource planning.
  • Comfortable working in international environments, including both military and civilian settings.
  • Experience with project planning tools (e.g., ServiceNow) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Digital Workplace solutions (e.g., IT equipment, collaboration tools) and Cloud-based service delivery is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English language at a C1 level.
