The HR Engagement Manager is responsible for fostering a positive and engaging work environment that enhances employee satisfaction, retention, and performance. This role involves designing and implementing strategies and programs that promote employee engagement, improving communication channels, and nurturing the company culture.

Responsibilities

  • Onboarding Process
    • End-to-End Management: Oversee the entire onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition from offer acceptance to the completion of the initial training period.
    • Orientation Programs: Design and conduct orientation programs to introduce new hires to company culture, policies, and procedures.
    • Onboarding Schedule: Develop and manage a detailed onboarding schedule, including key milestones and checkpoints.
  • Contract Signing
    • Document Preparation: Ensure all employment contracts and related documents are accurately prepared in accordance with legal and company standards.
    • Coordination: Manage the distribution and collection of contracts, ensuring timely completion and addressing any discrepancies.
    • Compliance: Verify that all documentation complies with local labor laws and company policies.
  • Training Support
    • Collaboration with Departments: Work closely with department heads to identify and provide necessary training for new employees.
    • Resource Allocation: Ensure new hires have access to all required training materials and resources.
    • Training Tracking: Monitor and track the progress of new hires through their initial training period, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Data Management
    • Data Entry: Accurately enter employee data into HR systems, maintaining up-to-date records.
    • Confidentiality: Ensure the confidentiality and security of employee information.
    • System Updates: Regularly review and update HR systems to ensure data integrity and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Feedback and Improvements
    • Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from new hires regarding their onboarding experience through surveys and interviews.
    • Process Analysis: Analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Implementation of Changes: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the onboarding process based on collected feedback.
  • Employee Engagement
    • Engagement Initiatives: Develop and implement employee engagement programs to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
    • Culture Building: Promote company values and culture through various engagement activities and events.
    • Engagement Metrics: Measure employee engagement levels through surveys and feedback mechanisms, and use data to drive improvements.
    • Recognition Programs: Implement recognition and reward programs to celebrate employee achievements and contributions.
    • Social Events: Organize social events and team-building activities to enhance camaraderie and team spirit among employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in HR, with a focus on employee engagement or organizational development.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing engagement programs and initiatives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in HR software and engagement tools.
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in employee engagement and organizational behavior.
  • Willing to work in the Pacific Time (PST) schedule (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM PST). This is during the graveyard shift in Manila Time.
  • With own Laptop or Desktop (8GB RAM, core I5 above) with an internet connection of at least 10mbps.
